The Kinsmen sponsored North Grenville Idol for which Scott Arena and Kim Bailey did a great job.  In addition, Kin Ken Moody and Dave Gordon were crucial in selling out all the tickets for the chicken dinners.

MS Bike Run Corn Roast

The Kinsmen came out and helped feed hundreds of bikers in support of the MS run. Thirteen year running.  Thanks Kin Milfred Harper.

Harvest Fest

Oct. 24, 2003

Our first annual celebration of Food, Beverages and music.  The wine tasting venue was a definite success. In all we raised over $3,000.00 for Kin Winterland and the Kin Outdoor rink. Thanks to Kin Scott Arena for making this a success.

Cribbage Tournament November 2003

A local tournament was held to help raise funds for a local child with cancer.  A challenge was put the other service clubs to meet our contribution and they came through.

Santa Toy Parade

Nov. 22, 2003

Once again, chair: Ian McLaughlin managed to have a one on one with the weather and pulled off a great parade.  Past Kin members came to our support and helped out with the logistics of the parade.  This year, the Girl Guides helped us with the boot drive. All monies ($1,900) from the boot drive went towards the Kinette's Christmas Wish Tree to help provide gifts.

Kin Outdoor Rink

Jan. 2004  to Mar. 2004

The 2nd Largest rink in the area! Fortunately, for us the South Branch of the Rideau river runs through the Town of Kemptville. The Kinsmen Ice crew worked from very early in January until early March 2004 and ensured that the ice surface of just over 250 meters Yes!  that's 250 meters! was cleared, flooded, and swept on a regular basis. Kin Wayne Illingworth and Bob Beckett have officially been appointed our master sweepers and have saved the day on many occasions.

Kin Winterland - Feb 7-2004

Fun! Fun! Fun! Ask any of the kids and family. Our mayor opened the ceremonies. Thanks Kin Dick Sculthorpe and his wife for keeping the hot dogs and hot chocolate going all day.

Nevada Ticket Sales

Kin Dave Gordon always makes sure Family World has a good supply on hand.

BINGO

It's a difficult job but someone has to do it. Kin Ken Moody, our master bingo whip, continues to keep the crew in line and punctual.
